About the Outreach Committee

 

The outreach committee assists in recruiting new members for the Society of Women Engineers and helps increase SWE involvement in the Palouse community during the academic year. This committee is composed of members who are dedicated to helping the WSU SWE section grow and improve. They have a lot of creative freedom to organize outreach events with the community and to help organize club general meetings.

My name is Helen Hoang and I feel so excited to be a part of SWE as a committee member. This year, I am a junior in Computer Science, and I joined SWE for 1 year. Involved in SWE was a fantastic experience when I had the opportunity to experience a lot of interesting programs like Kid’s Science & Engineering Day and workshops sharing tips to get internships. I’m so excited to know everyone and exchange experiences!
